we are currently looking for a HW developer to grow with us.

As part of the HW team, you will define our products by working closely with your colleagues in
the HW group as well as in the other R&D groups, Sales and Marketing. As a Senior HW
developer, you can influence everything from high level HW board architecture, component
selection to sub-block design and define the HW test environment.

We have an informal and flexible work environment, where you will play an important role in
growing the HW group and at the same time the company by constantly improving the way we
work, and by making sure that we are at the leading edge when it comes to integrating the latest
technologies into our products.

The Job:

  • HW design of accelerated networking solutions based on the latest Xilinx FPGAs.
  • Participate in the HW architecture definition based on customer input.
  • Keep up to date on relevant new technology.
  • HW schematic design.
  • HW test, verification and debug in lab.
  • Interface to production.
  • Maintain and support existing products.

You have 5+ years of experience in designing high speed HW, you are self driven and take
pride in delivering work of high quality. You have an opinion and you are flexible.
As a Senior HW designer you will participate in all parts of the development from HW
architecture design, schematics, working with the in-house PCB layout engineers, HW validation
and testing in the lab and help drive “best known practices” in the HW group.

Your profile includes most of the following:

  • Experience with high speed HW design.
  • Experience with high speed RAM interfaces: DDR3, DDR4 and QDR3.
  • Design of high current / low voltage power supplies.
  • Lab testing of noise, signal integrity and HW debugging.
  • Documenting your work.

Further an advantage if you are familiar with:

  • HW simulation.
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGAs.
  • Experience with PCI express HW design.
  • Experience with Ethernet interfaces: 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G.
  • Automated testing and scripting (e.g. python or TCL).
  • Designing with Intel FPGAs.
  • Knowledge of latest PCB technologies.
