Introducing Design Gateway partnership

Silicom Denmark has partnered up with Design Gateway, who specialize in IP cores for high performance and low resources usage solutions in data storage, networking fields on FPGA such as NVMe, SATA, TCP/IP, UDP/IP and EMAC. Their TOE100G-IP Solution can incorporate with Silicom’s PacketMover framework as a 100GbE Network Card and fully offload multiple TCP sessions by TOE100G-IP cores, featuring high performance through TCP payload transferred directly with Host Main Memory through PCIe DMA interface and PCIe DMA transfer speed up to ~12GB/s over 100GbE.

Now shipping Silicom FPGA SmartNIC N5013/N5014

Silicom is now shipping two new Stratix 10 based high-performance FPGA cards featuring 4 x QSFP28 ports and 8GB HBM2 on-chip memory, providing an unprecedented 512 GByte/s of total aggregate bandwidth. The N5014 additionally features two Intel E810-CAM1 NIC devices connected to the FPGA, enabling the option to function as the primary data path to and from the host system.

TimeSync SmartNIC FPGA FB4XXVG@Z21D

The TimeSync SmartNIC FPGA FB4XXVG@Z21D is a high-performance OEM hardware platform intended for hardware acceleration for mobile 4G and 5G Baseband Units or Distributed Units with four SFP28 modules. Example: supports 100MHz carriers Radio Units via 4×10/25G eCPRI/CPRI with SFP28 modules, as well as interfacing to a Grand master via SFP28 at 10/25G.

The design is set to work in ORAN LLS-C1 and C2 with the intention to be utilized with a 4G/5G IP stack interfacing at 3GPP functional split options 8 for CPRI or 7.2x for eCPRI.

The card is based on a Xilinx® Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC FPGA, which embeds a Processor System (PS) with four 64-bit Application Processing Units (ARM Cortex-A53) and two Real-Time Processing Units (ARM Cortex-R5) along with a powerful Programmable Logic (PL) part (UltraScale+ FPGA), as well as an integrated SD-FEC block.
