Event: FPGA World Conference 2024
Date: 12 September 2024
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Registration: Register for Free Here
At this year’s FPGA World Conference in Copenhagen, we’re excited to share our advancements in FPGA development with a focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using open-source tools. Join us on September 12th for an insightful presentation on how open-source solutions can transform your FPGA development workflow.
Presentation Title: Open FPGA Development Flow with CI/CD
Presenter: Rasmus Grøndahl Olsen, Senior FPGA Verification Engineer
In our session, we’ll explore an unified development stack designed for automation and reusability. This stack integrates seamlessly with popular CI tools like GitHub, GitLab , Jenkins and automation frameworks, like Robot Framework, that runs our SimplHDL–a robust Open Source application, supporting all the major EDA vendor stools for FPGA implementation and simulation workloads.
Our approach underscores the benefits of open-source tools, enabling participation from both companies and academic institutions. This not only facilitates the adoption of advanced CI/CD practices but also fosters a collaborative environment for maintaining and evolving these tools. With a plugin architecture, our stack ensures easy integration with existing code bases and extensions to various simulators and implementation applications.
Why Attend?
- Explore Open-Source Solutions: Gain insights into how open-source tools like SimplHDL and Robot Framework can enhance your FPGA development and CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Be part of our initiative to establish a working group dedicated to maintaining and advancing these tools. Help standardize CI/CD practices and contribute to a shared pool of knowledge.
- Network with Experts: Meet FPGA engineers and professionals from the Copenhagen and Malmø regions, exchange ideas, and forge valuable connections.
